Apple unveils MacBook Pro with a dual-layer OLED PROLED XDR display and the first touch on Mac, from 104,900 baht

M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, up to 2,000 nits, 10,000,000:1 contrast, Dynamic Island on Mac, and down to 1.38 kg. Thailand availability coming soon.
Apple has unveiled an all-new MacBook Pro with a PROLED XDR display built on advanced dual-layer OLED, and touch on a Mac for the first time.
PROLED XDR display
Every layer of the dual-layer OLED has been refined, paired with display-engine algorithms that control each pixel in real time and a factory calibration process for every panel, reducing the internal reflections seen in conventional OLED and delivering deep blacks and bright highlights with no halo or bloom.
- Peak brightness up to 2,000 nits for both HDR and SDR
- Contrast ratio of 10,000,000:1
- ProMotion adaptive refresh from 10Hz to 120Hz
- P3 plus (new) Adobe RGB, covering more than 80% of Rec. standards for HDR video editing and color grading
- Optional Nano-texture, now etched into the display cover glass, to cut glare and reflections
Touch and Dynamic Island
The touch sensors are built into the display panel rather than layered on top, reducing latency. Users can scroll, pinch to zoom, drag and drop, double-tap to fill the screen or flick to tile windows, all alongside keyboard shortcuts and trackpad gestures. macOS converts touches into clicks automatically so many apps work immediately, and updated gesture APIs let developers build touch-first experiences. Dynamic Island also comes to Mac for calls, music controls, Live Activities and AirDrop requests.
Design, chips and sound
The 14-inch model drops 0.23 kg to 1.38 kg; the 16-inch weighs 1.82 kg, 0.32 kg lighter. Displays grow to 14.2 and 16.3 inches. M5 Pro and M5 Max keep sustained performance thanks to a redesigned thermal architecture, with battery life up to 24 hours. The six-speaker system has a new woofer with 50% deeper bass and supports Dolby Atmos, with studio-quality microphones and sound tuned for lid-closed use.
